Taste of Italy

What could be better than enjoying a fine wine with good food and so to celebrate the launch of our inaugural Sparkling Chardonnay we invite you to join us at ‘Taste of Italy” our new and exciting Silverstream event.

Local celebrities, Verity James whom you might remember from ABC and local butcher and radio personality Vince Garreffa will team up to deliver an exclusive cooking event which is guaranteed to be entertaining.

“Taste of Italy” will include a cooking demonstration with instructions on how to prepare mouth-watering meat rilletes and secrets on how to create delicious traditional Italian cuisine to impress your friends.

Local cheese and olive oil suppliers have also been invited to provide some of their exclusive products for tasting.

Following the demonstration guests will enjoy a light lunch along with a glass of our fabulous 2007 Sparkling Chardonnay and as a special treat take home complimentary samples of Vince’s superb potted meats and pickled vegetables. What a perfect day!

Tickets for the event won’t last long so we urge you to book early to avoid disappointment. Ticket price is $70.

This event is part of the  ‘Taste Great Southern’ food and wine festival.

Silverstream Exhibition Opening

November 11th, 2009

The  Southern Art & Craft Trail is held each year, in conjunction with different venues around the Great Southern of Western Australia – one of which was Silverstream Wines, 2365 Scotsdale Road, Denmark. This is a not for profit event – organized by Annette Grant – who puts artists and venues together to create synergies in Art , Wine and Food.

Andrew’s Story

I was looking at the two empty seats next to me thinking ‘I might just catch up on some sleep on this flight.’

How wrong was I.

Just a minute or two away from departure, two people marched down the aisle towards the vacant seats.

I looked up to say ‘hello’, and to my surprise it turned out to be a someone I already knew!

Felicity and I had met before, I purchased wine from her for a restaurant I formerly managed.

The Wine Trip to Adelaide

For research into the wonderful wines in South Australia, Tony and Felicity traveled to Adelaide in April 08 and experienced first hand some wines made by forth and fith generation wine makers.
