Two bottles each of the 2011, 2013 and 2015. All three of these wines have been recently tasted and look absolutely stunning – drinking beautifully at the moment with the 2011 still showing youth and primary fruit. The three vintages were submitted for review last year in Halliday’s Wine Companion and all three received very high scores from Erin Larkin. If you are passionate about your Chardonnay then do not miss this offer!

Chardonnay 2011 Erin Larkin, James Halliday Wine Companion 2023 writes … “Hand-picked fruit, whole-bunch pressed, both wild and inoculated ferment in seasoned French oak, partial MLF (15%). Golden in colour in 2011, the wine is rich with Golden Delicious apples, lemon oil, vermouth (Martini Bianco), bitter walnuts, alpine herbs and vanilla Tina wafers. This has a lot going for it, but it's at its peak currently: another 12-18 months from now and the characters may start to turn. Perfect if you want to drink aged chardonnay NOW – and you didn't even have to age it yourself. Bingo.” 91/100
Chardonnay 2013 Campbell Mattinson from the Wine Front writes … “It’s fully mature and it’s in good drinking shape. It has creamy, buttery mouthfeel and flavour and a decent sling of yellow stone fruit flavour. It has satisfying length and enough breadth to keep you coming back for more. No alarms or indeed highlights but it works pretty well.” 90 Pts Halliday Wine Companion 2021 – 93 Pts
Chardonnay 2015 Campbell Mattinson from the Wine Front writes … “It’s yellow-straw in colour and both generous and soft on the palate. It actually slings out pretty well on the finish but upfront it’s certainly soft and rich. Cream, cashew, raw cedar, grapefruit and yellow stonefruit flavours before lemony citrus characters pick up the energy. Give it a little air and it drinks well.” 92 Pts Halliday Wine Companion 2021 – 91 Pts
