The 2024 displays intense aromas of red fruits—cherry and plum—lifted by subtle undertones of seasoned French oak. Medium to full-bodied, it displays a finely structured tannin profile, seamlessly integrated with the oak influence. The palate offers vibrant flavours of plum, cherry, and strawberry, complemented by a delicate hint of herb and well-supported by spicy oak. The finish is savoury, fruit-driven, and lingering.

Description
The fruit was hand-picked and transported to the winery for open-top stainless steel fermentation with approximtely 30% whole bunch inclusion. Careful plunging was undertaken to ensure gentle extraction of colour, flavour and fine, elegant tannins. The wine was then pressed off and matured in 100% seasoned French oak for six months. Minimal fining and filtration prior to bottling.

“Expressive pinot from Denmark. It’s been made with an understated approach although 30% whole bunches have been included. Spicy plum and cherry on the nose with a little dried herbs. The medium-bodied palate is quite soft and supple. Yet there is structure and poise which has been influenced by the whole bunch inclusion.”
