Medium to full-bodied, it displays a finely structured tannin profile, seamlessly integrated with the oak influence. The palate offers vibrant flavours of plum, cherry, and strawberry, complemented by a delicate hint of herb and well-supported by spicy oak. The finish is savoury, fruit-driven, and lingering.

Description
The fruit was hand-picked and transported to the winery for open-top stainless steel fermentation with approximtely 30% whole bunch inclusion. Careful plunging was undertaken to ensure gentle extraction of colour, flavour and fine, elegant tannins. The wine was then pressed off and matured in 100% seasoned French oak for six months. Minimal fining and filtration prior to bottling.

“Medium-light colour; smoky steely iron filings/ironstone aromas; dried rose petals too. The palate echoes these flavours with medium intensity and soft, fine tannins, finishing with good length and balance. Slight alcohol afterglow. Nice lighter pinot: there's a lot to like here.”
